Every month Greenhouse Farmacy reaches out and helps one of our fellow Missoulians who is suffering from a terminal illness or chronic disease. From cancer to MS, we have been able to help many of our friends and community members get through and overcome some of their hardest battles.
Greenhouse Farmacy Sponsors a New Person Every Month
We think it's so important to help our fellow community members when they are fighting their hardest to just keep going and heal. We have met some truly amazing and strong people like Everly who was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when her mom was 37 weeks pregnant with surprise baby #4. While also battling her cancer, Everly has fought severe sepsis, pneumonia, adrenal insufficiency, a life-threatening leg infection, chemo toxicity, typhlitis, and liver/kidney failure. She has spent 150 days (including every major holiday) in the hospital between 2 states. At Greenhouse Farmacy, we can only attempt to have the same big hearts as Everly and her mother Jodi, but we’re so happy to have had the opportunity to show them kindness and support them.
Greenhouse Farmacy Holds Fundraisers for Community Causes
Greenhouse Farmacy has raised over $37,000 in 2021 for medical bills and expenses for people in our community. In the words of the 14th Dalai Lama, "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive." Greenhouse Farmacy lives by these words and prides itself on consistently giving back to the community.
