What are CO2 concentrates?

CO2 concentrates are any extracted cannabis in which liquid carbon dioxide was used as a solvent to strip cannabinoids and terpenes off of cannabis flower for further concentration and extraction. This process most commonly utilizes a state of CO2 called ‘supercritical CO2’ which takes on the properties of both a gas and a liquid. CO2 is used because it leaves zero solvent behind in the finished products and is highly efficient in separating terpenes from cannabinoids.

Starting January 17th, 2022, Greenhouse Farmacy will be formulating most of our concentrates, cannabis vapes, and edibles with supercritical CO2. This will ensure 100% solvent-free products.
